Unfortunately the existence of homebrew always means the possibility of piracy, and if that spirals out of hand it's potentially fatal to the lifespan of a console and threatens to drastically reduce what could be a healthy and vibrant game library. To work around this, Yuzu has its own way of giving you these. I'm already seeing certain users around the web bemoaning this absolutely necessary move by Nintendo, stating they're not interested in a Switch without homebrew. On an Emulator this, obv, doesnt work like it would on a Switch, due to the emulator not connecting to Nintendos servers.
